This is a great meetup to join if you are interested in networking with other Web 2.0/Online Social Networking and online community junkies. It is also a great place to network with Nonprofit Techies.

We had a great turnout for January and are looking forward to meeting again with all online community folks in February. This month we'll be joined by Daniel Clemens, co-founder of Batiq, a global mentoring community that connects mentors and students through online social networking. We'll discuss Batiq and other online community tools. Come join us for an informative discussion with fellow online community folks.

Speaker Bio: Daniel William Clemens is the Founder of Batiq, a company dedicated to improving global education. Batiq has headquarters in San Francisco, CA and offices in Seoul and has recruited over 1400 mentors from the world?s top ten universities to help guide high school students towards college success. Batiq utilizes 21st century technology to create an immersive learning environment that fosters focused interactions in the context of a larger global community of scholars and leaders.
